DarkRP - Resistance Occupation Server Rules Last Updated 12/8/23

Common Sense Rules

  • The Reich/Bank Vault is always AOS. Unless otherwise stated by the Fuhrer.
  • If anything on the player shows up as Illegal when checked, the item is Illegal.
  • If a person is killed by the Reich for having a weapon out or is wanted for the murder of a Reich official, the Reich is not allowed to Revive and Arrest said person/s.
  • If someone disconnects to avoid being arrested, it's disconnecting to avoid an RP situation.
  • If you leave your door open/unlocked and someone walks into your property, you must ask them to leave at least once before taking action.
  • If you die with a raid on Reich advert, you must make another and wait the given time.
  • If a dog actually bites/damages you, you can just kill the dog.
  • Do not use a gravity gun or try to catch rockets.
  • Selling your job is not permitted.
  • Resistance medics/Doctors spamming healing to avoid arrest is job abuse.
  • Disrespecting a Reich official is AOS if it is a law created by the Fuhrer.
  • Administrator Discretion applies to any other offenses not specifically outlined.
  • Use common sense. If it seems like rule-breaking, it probably is.

General Rules

  • Show respect to other players. Racism is not permitted in OOC.
  • Do not abuse any exploits, glitches, or use hacks.
  • Selling/Trading In-game currency is prohibited.
  • Do not link or provide NSFW, malware, or any illicit material.
  • Do not spam anything (Voice/Chat/Props/Lockdowns/etc..).
    • Playing music is permitted unless asked to stop.
  • Do not abuse your powers, including revenge demoting.
  • Do not randomly kill players (RDM).
  • Do not randomly attack or interfere with other players.
  • Firearms/Explosives/Melee Weapons and Printers are always illegal.
  • Do not make Kill on Sight Areas/Signs/Laws.
  • Do not own unused buildings (Unused for over 10 Minutes).
  • Do not scam people or gamble with money you don't have.
  • Do not randomly set things on fire.
  • Do not make false 911/Reports.
    • You may fake calls to unowned buildings to distract Reich.
  • Non-Reich in Reich disguise is always AOS.
  • Only areas behind owned doors are private property.
  • Checkpoints are AOS if you run past without checking.
  • Lock picking is always arrestable.
  • No intentional crossfire killing.
  • Making Countries is not allowed except Reich Controlled Poland.
  • Must have a proper RP Name.

Meta-game Rules

  • Names above heads, Text-Screens, Advertisements, Door names, Objects clipping through walls/sounds, job names (not scoreboard), and Voice Chat are considered in-character.
  • If you change from a Reich Job to a Non-Reich Job, you cannot use any knowledge from the previous Reich Job (Applies with OOC demotions only, IC demotions from an Officer/Fuhrer do not count).

New Life Rules (NLR)

  • Do not return to the spot of your death or affect roleplay around the region for 150 seconds / 2.5 minutes.
    • When you die, you are not allowed to remember anyone or anything from your past life.
  • NLR is applied to any death (in which you respawn at spawn, does not include if you are resuscitated).

Prop Rules

  • You may spawn props for cover if appropriate and done in an RP manner.
  • Do not abuse props (surfing/climbing/killing/blocking/Using One-way props/Abusive no-colliding).
  • Building rules:
    • You can build bases with proper supports (must look Sturdy/Stable).
    • The base must adhere to stability and construction aesthetics.
  • Do not prop block tunnels/roads/underground/public property.
  • You cannot prop block bank doors or Vault entrance.
  • Prop blocking within homes allowed if alternative entrance exists.
  • Prop Tunnel and Maze restrictions:
    • Maximum 1 turn for tunnel entrance.
    • Maximum 1 crouch entrance.
    • Crouch entrances limited to 3 seconds transit time.
    • Jump crouch counts as crouch entrance.
  • No invisible/dark/hard to see entrances.
  • No sliding gates/doors/entrances.
  • No hitbox shielding/glitching.
  • No head glitching or shooting through one-way props.

Classes Permitted to Raid and Mug

Classes permitted to Raid and Mug:

  • Citizen
  • Thief
  • Spy (Must not be in Reich Outfit)
  • Resistance Member
  • Resistance Medic
  • Resistance Operative
  • Resistance Leader
  • Black Market Dealer
  • Rustung Dealer
  • Cherkesov Dealer

Classes permitted to Raid Reich:

  • Production classes impacted by economy
  • Resistance Member
  • Resistance Medic
  • Resistance Operative
  • Resistance Leader
  • Spy
  • Black Market Dealer
  • Rustung Dealer
  • Cherkesov Dealer

Reich Raiding Rules

  • You cannot attempt to overthrow/kill the Fuhrer unless:
    • Taxes are above 35% (for your own class only)
    • Economy is below 50%
    • A law is not repealed that negatively affects you
    • You must /advert to the Fuhrer to make this change and give him time to respond (at least 3 minutes)
    • If you plan on raiding, you must clearly state this
  • If the Fuhrer refuses to change, the Obergruppenführer is an open target as well
  • For jailbreaks:
    • Must give Reich 1 minute to release your friend (must advert)
    • Breaking someone out doesn't permit killing the Fuhrer

Gestapo Rules

  • Do not run around in useless disguises (e.g., Officer Uniforms)
  • You can use a disguise to blend in or infiltrate a base
  • Do not run into the Reich with Civilian, Business, or Resistance skins on; this is FailRP

German Supplier Rules

  • You are not permitted to raid; you may sell weapons at a raid but cannot participate
  • You can only sell to Reich Officials
    • Do not spawn weapons and then switch jobs; this is FailRP
  • The Fuhrer can demote you for overpricing weapons (Over 2.5x the listed price)

Prison Warden Rules

  • You must stay within the Reich at ALL times
  • Bail must be within a reasonable limit (1RM-2500RM)

Fuhrer Rules

  • You cannot order anyone to do anything that would break the rules
  • You cannot change the atmosphere of the RP Server
  • Martial Law reasons must be valid (Raid on Reich, Raiding Resistance base, bank robbery, etc...)
  • Laws that are unreasonable are not permitted
    • Such as Crouch/Jaywalking/Jumping only laws
  • You cannot make default weapons illegal (Physgun, toolgun, gravgun)

1st SS Panzer Division Rules

  • You must stay with the Fuhrer at all times, unless ordered not to do so
  • You are not an officer, you cannot order others what to do

Panzer Operator/APC Driver Rules

  • Do not intentionally run people over (must slow down/stop to avoid them)
    • You are permitted to run over hostile enemies
  • You may build a ramp to get over obstacles, delete this afterward

Banker Rules

  • Do not store printers in the Reichstag
    • Do not store printers in your personal home/base (Printers are considered illegal when outside the bank)
  • You may only work for the Reich. You cannot help resistance raid the bank. Doing so will be considered FailRP.

Resistance Rules

  • Resistance groups/factions may Mug each other
  • Resistance groups/factions may Raid each other
  • Only Resistance jobs can raid the Reich
    • You must have a valid reason
  • You may only kill a Reich official if they're a direct threat to your/friend's freedom, life, and/or raid
    • If they acknowledge your/your friend's illegal activities or they are in the direct way of a raid or sabotaging with the intention to destroy
    • If the Reich sees that you are wanted or notices that you have a gun or notices anything illegal in your possession
  • Resistance/civilians may build embassies/countries but must follow all Reich laws
    • Resistance/civilians cannot restrict Reich officials from entering the embassy/country
    • Embassies/Countries are illegal unless stated otherwise by laws
  • Resistance/civilians may defend their Controlled Sections from the Reich
    • You may not openly bait the Reich into your section
    • Refer to Misc Rules (8, 8A, 8B, and 8C) and Common Sense Rules (1 and 13)

Faction/Resistance Group Rules (WIP)

  • You are not permitted to KOS each other on sight
    • You may mug/raid each other

Raiding Rules

  • You must wait 10 minutes between successive mugs/raids of the same person/place
    • You are NOT allowed to shoot the person before you start mugging
    • You/your group must enter the building you are raiding within 1 minute of the raid starting
    • Once you've entered a building to raid it you have 10 minutes to leave
  • You must have a realistic amount to ask for (2RM - 3000RM), with a reasonable time to respond (at least 15 seconds)
    • You must specifically acknowledge the player you're mugging in your message (Voice or Text)
  • Do not mug someone with an explosive (Flamethrowers do not count)
  • You must wait three minutes between the next raid (of a different person)

Misc Rules

  • The owner of the front door of a building has rights to the entire house
  • Be appropriate on your text-screens
  • Do not impersonate any Moderator or ROG administration
  • Deathmatch games/Fight clubs are allowed
    • However, they are always illegal. Reich are not allowed to partake
    • They must be behind owned and closed doors. Must only use melee weapons
  • Do not prop block a radio or television completely
  • Do not prop block a radio in a high-traffic area
  • You cannot roleplay as a Serial Killer, Terrorist, Hitman - this is FailRP
    • This includes role-playing as a terrorist organization or group (e.g., Isis)
  • Do not intentionally attempt to get wanted
    • Sending false 911 calls to ambush nazis
    • Having your gun out on public property for no reason
    • Textscreens such as "guns sold here," including text/water gun signs
  • Do not break roleplay to intentionally interrupt administrative sits
